Reader. Writer.
Always curious.

I’m Robert Flach. I write poetry, think about books, and build things for the web. All Authors brings those interests together.

My background includes service in the U.S. Navy, a B.A. in English from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a career in software. Literature has remained a place to ask questions, pay attention, and try to say something precisely.

My poems have appeared in Illya’s Honey, The Penwood Review, and Z-Nine. Here you’ll also find literary criticism, reflections on faith and life, and experiments in language and learning.

About this corner of the web

Unadulterated Text began in 2003. This new home brings together selected writing from that archive and makes room for what comes next.

There is no single subject here, but there is a thread: a curiosity about what words can do, and a willingness to follow an interesting thought.
